How Much? (Part 2)

The signed Nakata shirt that was offered on eBay by BWFC has ended with a final bid of £1,680.00.

There are two things I find odd about the sale of this shirt.

Firstly what did Bolton Wanderers hope to achieve by selling the shirt, surely money is not that scarce at The Reebok. There was no mention of money being raised for charity either, so what was the point?

Secondly, why would someone pay over 1,500 quid for such a shirt? That I don’t understand, there are other footy shirts that are ‘worth’ more (a lot more), but they are shirts which have a much higher significance.
