Tales of Tal's Transfer
There have been reports that Bolton defender Tal Ben Haim is to be sold to top of the Prem Chelsea for a fee of £5 million. Sam Allardyce responded almost instantly by telling the official website, “Tal is a vital member of our first team and is not available for transfer, Chelsea have not engaged in any dialogue with us.”
Hey Sam, £5 million isn’t a bad offer though is it?
As yet there has been no comment from Chelsea in reply to Sam’s but something similar happened at the beginning of the season with Jay-Jay and Stelios. It turned out that Jay-Jay would be leaving, but not a quickly as thought, and Stelios signed a new contract. So if there is any truth or not in today’s speculation I am sure that there will be more news to follow in the next few weeks before the January transfer window opens.
