Muntari's Premiership Dream

Ghana’s Sulley Muntari has confirmed that Big Sam has shown an interest:

“There are lots of club who have contacted Udinese over my signature and that includes Bolton in England.”

As ever there are now rumours about other teams that may approach one of Bolton’s target. This includes Harry Redknapp (Portsmouth) who watched Mutari in Ghana’s last World Cup game in which Brazil progressed to the Quarter Finals with a 3-0 win over the West Africans.

As Sulley heads off for a well earned break expect more Premiership teams to show an interest.

Sulley Muntari explained his near future plans;

“I will go on vacation now and, after that, I expect I will get to play at a bigger club. I am still waiting for someone to make contact but I would like to play in England. That is the dream for me now.”

He went on to express his feelings for the World Cup referees too and obviously feels that his team was hard done by (and rightly so).

“The big teams definitely get an advantage. I lost count of the number of times we made perfectly fair tackles, yet the referee blew for a foul.

“It is very frustrating and it is not fair but what can you do?”

Sulley? Are you sure that you’d like the English game? I think it’s time you met a certain Mr Riley.
