Bolton Boys Get Some Fresh Air

Bad Ragaz in SwitzerlandNow I’m no saying that the air in Bolton is bad, but surely it is better in the middle of Switzerland and that’s where you will find the Wanderers squad at the moment. As part of their preparation for the next season the squad has jetted off to Bad Ragaz (southeast of Zürich) for an intesive 10-day training camp.

The Polish international team spent time at the same resort training camp in preparation for this year’s World Cup.

Bad Ragaz has two other claims apart from the excellent sports training facilities. Firstly it is the oldest ‘spa town’ in the country and as a result attracts a lot of visitors seeking a healthy break. Secondly the town is home to the [famous] Heidi story by Johanna Spyri in 1880.
