  • [70] Hulse – Sheffield
  • [73] Kazim-Richards – Sheffield

The Wanderers should have secured an easy 3 points this afternoon but alas it was not to be. Bolton were winning comfortably with goals from Diouf and Davies either side of half-time.

Determination earned The Blade a share of the points with a short, yet impressive, spell of skill to allow Rob Hulse to header powerfully past Jussi Jaaskelainen following the perfect delivery from Colin Kazim-Richards from the right. A little over 2 minutes later Colin scored the equalizer to the immeasurable delight of the home fans.

Bolton had opportunity to pull themselves ahead with Nolan and Faye nearly scoring for what would have be an deserved win. Overall the score did not reflect the game fairly and Bolton loose out on two valuable points.
