Henrik Unhappy in Defence

BWFC's Henrik PedersenHenrik Pedersen is a forward and that is where he wants to play.

With Bolton’s injury problems, this season and last, the Dane has found himself playing as left-back on numerous occasions, and playing well in that position proving to be a confident defensive player.

However he recently told the Danish daily newspaper, 24Timer:

“If Bolton want to extend my contract with me playing in defence and I have an offer from another club, I wouldn’t hesitate changing club.”

It would be a great shame to loose Pedersen after 6 years, but having him playing regularly in his favoured position is highly unlikely with the current squad. It is looking like that 27 year-old Henrik will not be getting his contract renewed when it ends in the summer.
