Poll Results : Where will BWFC finish this season?

BWFC24 asked, “Where will BWFC finish this season?” Here are the results…

  • Top 4: 31%
  • 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th: 65%
  • Between 9th and 12th inclusive: 2%
  • None of the above: 2%

These results show that about of third of all voters have high expectations, hoping that The Wanderers will finish in the top 4. At the moment that does seem unlikely as Arsenal are sure to stretch the points difference with their two games in hand and their vastly superior goal difference.

However, about two-thirds of voters have a more realistic opinion about Bolton’s final position this season, this being between 5th and 8th inclusive.

So while a place in the Champions League is still a dream, a second run in The UEFA Cup is looking likely.

The 4% of people who voted for 9th and below are either pessimists or not Bolton supporters. Not that there’s a problem with either of those. to be a pessimists can be a good thing – especially with regards to being a football supporter! If you don’t expect much then you’ll be happily surprised when good things happen.
