Is it time to say goodbye Sammy Lee? If so, who would replace him?

Who has recently lost his job, doesn’t need money but wants to work, has had a very successful career in football club management and could save Bolton Wanderers (from Little Sam)?

“I am waiting for the phone calls. I want to enjoy my life but I want to work.”

Okay, so he wants to ‘enjoy’ his life and being the Bolton boss might prove to be less than enjoyable in the short-term, but long-term he would flourish and so would the club. A big shiny piece of silverware could be Bolton’s if only the club had the balls to make that phone call that this man is waiting for. Come on Gartside – give him a call…

If Bolton remain stuck at the bottom of The Premier League for another couple of weeks then surely Sammy Lee will have to go. Chances are that Bolton’s performance will improve dramatically saving Little Sam, but what if The Wanderers continue their dismal run of defeats? Who would step into Lee’s role?
