Megson's Striker
There’s speculation that Bolton may be ready to sign Elyaniv Barda who is currently with one of the most successful clubs in Belgium, K.R.C. Genk (aka Racing Genk). Huh!
Bolton showed an interest in the 27 year old at the beginning of the year but backed off when Racing Genk stated that they wanted £3.5m for the striker. With interest from Fulham, Portsmouth and Blackburn Phil Gartside will have to loosen the purse strings fairly quickly if they are to bring Barda to The Reebok.
Since 2007 Barda has played 58 times for Genk and scored 21 times, fairly impressive. Better still, at international level Barda has made a total of 16 appearances for Israel and has netted 5 goals.
