It has been confirmed that Bolton will welcome West Ham United to The Reebok Stadium on February 18th, kick-off at 3.00pm.

Premiership Match Cancellation
The rescheduled Birmingham City match at St Andrew’s that was due to take place on February 7th has been cancelled once again due to City’s FA Cup replay with Reading FC following their 1-1 draw over the weekend.

Derby Ram Phil Brown Out

Phil Brown in 1996 (Bolton Wanderers)Former Bolton Wanderers defender and assistant coach, Phil Brown, has been sacked by Derby County after serving just 7 months of his 3 year contract with the club.

The decision to let Brown go was made after The Rams were knocked out of the FA Cup by Colchester of League 1, this followed an embarrassing 6-1 defeat at Coventry.

Will Phil Brown make a return to The Wanderers? Allardyce looks to have missed out on signing new defenders so it depends on how desparate he is.

We Love You Campo, We Do…

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has been quoted on The Sun’s website as saying the following about Ivan Campo’s injury:

“Ivan has broken his foot after what was an horrendous challenge.

“The Arsenal lad’s studs split the leather of Campo’s boot and socks, and left two gashes as well as breaking the bone. The outcome of that is serious for him and serious for ourselves.

“It is disappointing because we had only just got back the Ivan we had all fallen in love with. His form in the past two games was back to the best he was playing when he arrived here.”
