Last Day Signing?

With only one whole day of the transfer window open Bolton boss, Sam Allardyce, will have to move quick if there are any signings to be made. Once Tuesday (January 31) ends no more signings can be made until the season ends. As midfielder Ivan Campo will be out for most, if not all, of the remaining weeks of the season speculation has risen that a last minute deal for a replacement will be made.

Two Possiblilities

Ezequiel GonzalezPanathinaikos midfielder Ezequiel Gonzalez has been linked with the Wanderers. The 25 year-old from Agentina may be an alternative to buying Hidetoshi Nakata, it would certainly save the club a lot of money. Gonzalez’s contract expires in the summer, but there is a slight possibility that Allardyce will bring him to the club on loan before then.

Shimon GershonWhile another midfielder may be important to The Trotters defenders are needed more. With this in mind Israel international Shimon Gershon may come to the rescue. The centre-back is already known to Bolton’s Tal Ben Haim, as they both play for the international team. Gershon is currently captian of Hapoel Tel Aviv FC.

There is no news from the Bolton camp about late signings, Big Sam had hinted that no more signing will be made, although he might be hiding something up his sleeve.
