That’s what Bolton boss Sam Allardyce had to say about the rumour that Athletic Madrid had made an offer for striker El-Hadji Diouf.
I wonder what Dioufy is worth?
There is no doubt that he’s a valuable squad member, but he has been a controversial player on and off the pitch.
He drinks, he drives, he spits in people eyes!
I think, and hope, that the belligerent manner of Diouf has been tamed. As Nicolas Anelka improves so will Diouf, their partnership will become legendary.
So Dioufy’s worth is, at the moment, very tricky to determine as I think that is it the combination of Anelka and Diouf that is most valuable to The Trotters and not necessarily the individual players.
