Is The Prem Upside Down?

With the current state of Bolton Wanderers I feel it is time for an old favourite footie song of mine to be sung by Bolton fans once again – it has been a while. Of course ‘The Premiership’ now must be ‘The Premier League’ but other than than not much else needs to be changed.

The Premier League is upside-down
We’re staying up with The County
And the Arse are going down

(repeat until bored)

To be sung when Bolton travel down to steal three points from The Gunners. Obviously it will be best if they are still at the top, but you can substitute ‘Arse’ with ‘Scum’ if you like.

Let’s re-establish this classic song as it seems appropriate at the moment and it is a song of support and optimism tinged with irony. Singing it in front of Sammy Lee and the players may inspire greatness.

As for the poll – use it to show your support for The Trotters by voting ‘yes’ and laugh in the face of relegation.

How do you rate Little Sam so far?

The recent BWFC24 poll in which we asked ‘How do you rate Little Sam so far?’ has revealed that opinions have changed quickly over the weeks it was run. To begin with ‘too soon to say’ was the leading answer, but as soon as The Wanderer lost away to Birmingham City opinions rapidly changed.

Here are the full results that show that many supporters are somewhat disgruntled with Sammy Lee’s performance and would like to see the back of him.

Poor Sammy Lee no-one wanted to kiss the little fella (probably scared of hurting their back).

New Poll – Bolton's New Manager

Now that Sam Allardyce has gone who would you like to replace him at The Reebok? You can add your own suggestions if you like.
Speculation about Big Sam’s replacement is rife. Candidates include Sammy Lee (an obvious choice) or Ricky Sbragia – both currently remain at The Reebok (as far as we know). Former Fulham manager Chris Coleman is a possibility and Iain Dowie has been linked to the club in the past during the last bout of speculation.

Last Poll Results

The last BWFC24 Poll was about the colour of shorts (Blue or White). White was the preferred choice but as Bolton end the season without a confirmed manager – who gives a shit really?

Poll Result : Diouf's Worth

BWFC24 asked, ‘how much is El-Hadji Diouf worth?’ and the results were  predictable, seeming this website caters for  Bolton fans.

1. £10m – 39%
2. £15m – 25%
3. £20m or more – 21%
4. Athletico were right, £6m – 11%
5. No more than what we paid Liverpool (£3m?) – 4%

An overwhelming 85% said that the evidently popular Bolton striker was worth in excess of £10,000,000.

From this we can conclude that Wanderers’ fans think that Dioufy is worth keeping and  despite what Big Sam says to sell Diouf would possibly spell disaster for the club, no matter how much was added to the summer signing kitty.

Keep Dioufy at The Reebok is the message.
