BWFC's Next Manager (Reader's Choice)

Thank you to all of those who took part in our poll.

Basically Paul Jewell won with a massive 26% followed closely with Jose Mourinho with a rather surprising 22%. The rest of the votes were spread fairly evenly yet somehow Graeme Souness came a distant 3rd with 6%.

The least votes went to Stuart Pearce, actually that is not technically correct as he failed to receive a any votes. Gary Megson, said to be Bolton’s first choice, received just one vote (probably from Gartside). This proves rather convincingly that Bolton fans do not want Magson at the helm of Bolton Wanderers.

Paul Jewell Favourite For Bolton's New Manager

Paul Jewel leads the popularity contest to become Bolton Wanderer Football Club’s next manager. He is currently listed as favourite on Ladbrokes and leads BWFC24 Poll with an impressive 23% share of the votes.

If you are confident that you know who will become Bolton’s next manager you might be able to make some money as the odds are fairly good at the time of writing.

Poll : BWFC's Next Manager

BWFC24 have reset and edited the “who should manage Bolton Wanderers?” which was started last Saturday (October 17th). The changes were made to reflect this morning’s news about the departure of Sammy Lee.

Obviously Lee has been removed from the poll and new possibilities to replace Sammy Lee as Bolton Wanderers new manager have been added. Including José Mourinho, the popular Phil Jewell (who was clearly winning), and a certain Frenchman who would probably get rid of Diouf!

More may be added as possible replacements are rumoured.

BWFC24 reckons Phil Jewell will be appointed but would like to see José prove that he really is a good manager or Gérard Houllier at the helm.

New Poll : Next Manager For Bolton Wanderers

Little Sammy Lee could be out at the end of the month. As the tension rises at The Reebok and the next home game looms so does the most influential decision of the season for the club’s board and chairman – who will manage Bolton Wanderers Football Club?

The new poll makes a few suggestions, but you can add your own.

Sammy Lee remains an option should you feel that he is still the man for the job. Meanwhile there is speculation about former Wigan manager, Phil Jewel, joining The Wanderers and also, the less than obvious choice of Watford boss, Adrian Boothroyd.

Gary Speed is up for nominations, along with Ricky Sbragia and the former Trotter Phil Brown who is currently Hull City’s manager after several appointments around the country.
